Built to keep bots and fakes out
Sign-ups pass an automated human check on the web and a device check in the apps. Throwaway email addresses are refused.
Real people, real connections
Earn a verified badge with a live selfie check that a moderator reviews — no face recognition. Hukkup is for adults 18+.
End-to-end encrypted text chat
Text messages are end-to-end encrypted when both apps support it, so we can't read them. Photos are encrypted in transit.
Your data is never sold
We never sell your personal data, use it to target ads, or share it with advertisers or data brokers.
No daily limit on the grid
Browse people near you as far as you like, free. Premium adds more filters and a wider search area.
No daily message limit
Chat as much as you like on the free plan. Everyone chooses who can message them.
Explore without being exposed
The map shows places, events and busy areas. People appear only as rough area counts — never as pins.
Location stripped from photos
Every photo is re-encoded on upload, which removes hidden data such as GPS location tags.
